Since I'm a widow there is nobody special in my life other than my family. I work on Tuesdays so I will probably wear the new red blouse I bought for Christmas.
Really??
Wondering what people are going to wear a month from now on Valentine's day?
This is what occupies your mind?
And I thought I had no life....jeeze!
Sweety, you need a hobby. One that doesn't involve clothes. Or pink.
Agreed. I have no clue what I'll be wearing but I actually refreshed my wardrobe quite a bit the past few months, and I harly ever buy clothes. I got a new pair of black casual shoes, black ankle boots, a workout outfit, three drapey cardigans, and a new jacket, so I'll probably have some mix of those on.
I'm amused by the OP's dedication in recalling the exact manufacturer color description of all the clothes he has. I mean, I bought a green sweater from LOFT last month, but I have no idea if it's Radiant Teal or Jade Heather or something else. I hope there won't be a test.

Technically, most of IZOD's colors are actually defined by Pantone. It is common practice among fashion companies to produce clothing in colors defined by Pantone. Pantone's 2017 Color of the Year is known as "Greenery". Hopefully Fairy Tale is the color of 2018.

Fine, but to put it bluntly, most people don't care. They have a red shirt. They don't care exactly what shade and name it has.

Well, the name "Fairy Tale" is somewhat unusual for men's clothing, don't you think? It does sound a bit feminine. Still, it is my favorite shade of pink.

I love that Greenery is the color of the year this year. It's a color that happens to look good on me - at least I think so! And I like decorating with it. It's simply a color that makes me happy.
It sounds like Pink Jazz has identified the colors and shades that look good on him and make him happy to. I don't know the names of various shades - but I can take a look at a shirt and know if it's a tone of that color that I like.
The year I didn't like one bit was the Coral year (I can't recall the exact name of the shade). Makes me look like I'm sick and I've never really cared to decorate with it.
OP - do you tend to decorate/accent with the colors you are drawn to wear or do you have a different palate for your home?

Along a slightly different colored vein, has anyone noticed that clothing manufacturers have become ridiculous with the names of the colors of their clothing? For instance, I was looking at Levi's jeans recently, and the "light blue," and "dark blue," is a thing of the past. It isn't even as simple as "indigo" or "midnight" anymore. Now the blue colors are called ""Rustic Woodland," "Vast Sky," "Ambiance," "Dark Grove," "Lost Creek," etc. . . Now tell me how one can make a mental color association when one thinks of "ambiance."
