Dude is 38 and looks terrible. I'm 33 and have no fine lines or wrinkles. I looked at pictures of him at 33 and he already had all these wrinkles, but not as bad as now. In the last picture, his eye area wrinkle are just as bad if not worse than the 80ish year old lady. I suppose, terrible aging genetics.

Smiling a lot gives you premature crows feet. There's no way around it.

Lots of people who smile a lot, and don't have such bad wrinkles at 38 years old. He simply doesn't have a good eye area, thus, all the extra skin, collects there. He was always good looking, but even when he was young, you could see that he never had the greatest skin. He always had bags under the eyes and a propensity to fines and wrinkles.

Some people age quicker than others and their lifestyle could exacerbate the issue.

1) So you can't figure out that people age differently? What, you think we're all the same? (or, all the same as you?)

2) If you think James Franco is experiencing 'terrible aging' next to the general population, then you are very, very confused. (of course, we all can't be as gorgeous as you... )

Agree!!

I have ZERO complaints about James Franco's appearance, especially his smile.

If I spent my life developing laugh lines like that, I would consider my life a success.

I've never seen those weird wrinkles on the outside of his eyelids on anyone before.

Doesn't the guy have a pretty well-known appreciation for the marijuana? Could that explain why his face is permanently like that?

It's not his genetics. Poor guy was put in head gear as a child and it prevents normal growth. His bone structure can't support his skin because of it. He's a good looking guy regardless.
