Some women I know personally find it sexy.

Are there other women on here who aren't into this popular bearded look these days?
You are definitely NOT alone. I don't think a single one of the gals I know like that type of beard. About the farthest thing from sexy. UGH.

But as far as it being a "trend", I don't think so.

I don't know... some guys as they age, or just because... their necks drop. Pulls down the bottoms of their throats. You can literally draw a straight line from the bottom of their chin to the top of their chest. That's attractive? You would punish a guy that was already punished by genetics by not allowing him to grow (if he could) a real honker of a beard to hide his wattles?

I used to have a real honker of a beard in my 20's. I cut it off for a woman once. She said.... "never mind, grow it back, I'm sorry". What does a woman want? I never understand the heated emotion behind what is a personal choice. Just a little thought about it should inform the reasonable individual that to "hate" beards is a tad strange. I mean... when The Grid goes down and there are no more razors... are you really going to hook up with the guy who can't grow a beard?

Not me, I'm going to revert to pure animal instinct, and find the guy with the biggest biceps, the thickest beard, and the deepest voice, and croak sweet nothings in his ear. No shame in my game when it all goes pear shaped.

Just because you've never heard of it doesn't mean it's not a real thing or that it's a "ludicrous" concept.

If you don't mind it, that's fine. I find it lazy looking.

I like beards as long as they are kept up. I find it very masculine but then apparently I am one of the few women left who likes chest hair on a man. :-)

I don't mind a neat, trimmed, short beard. Sometimes a guy actually looks better with one. A long beard, or one that is untrimmed and just snarled, or bushy looking...no thanks.

Always fascinating to see how long it takes trends to filter down to the proles.
