^^^ Yes. My first thought was Tractor Supply, then I read "clothes".

I'd spend $500 on new clothes and the rest on furniture. Hope one of the shops has a nice selection of sofas or sectionals!

But really, if I could not use it for traveling, I'd rather pass that offer up!

AMEN!!!!!

If I HAVE to spend it on clothes at a store, I would pick the one with the best/easiest return policy, just grab and grab and grab until the 10K is spent..... wait until whatever arbitrary time limit is set by the giver of this windfall, return everything and then go buy new flooring for my house..... any left over after that, I would get started doing something with my kitchen cabinets and counter tops.......

Yep. Spend, return and the use the money for something necessary. If I had that kind of money, it wouldn't be blown on clothes. Dental work, any debts that I may have, payments, etc. Clothes would be very low down on the list.

If I could choose I'd spend it on a new A/C and fence because we're about to do that anyway. Next up would be furniture.

For clothes I'd say Macy's on a sale day because I can get classics for me plus clothes for my boys.
Marshalls because I love a deal on decent brands, I can pick up some classic purses-MK leather w/out all the annoying MKs and Kate Spade- highly reduced, and I can get Nike,Under Armour and CK for my boys plus shoes for everyone
Academy because keeping my boys in shoes is outrageously expensive, especially the 10 year old who is into 3 different sports!

All of the above work for my husband's clothing needs too.

Macy's
Dillard's
Zappo's (can I use an online service?)

$10000 just fell out of the sky?
I'm buying this!!

Patek Philippe Nautilus for $8,950 for sale from a Trusted Seller on Chrono24

A decade or two from now it'll probably be worth $20K. These things don't get cheaper.
Has to be pre-owned. 10 grand don't get you a sniff of a new one.

I'd Spend about a grand at REI and the rest at Jackson Armory | Specializing In Quality Firearms Firearms hold their value better than clothes. (which usually don't)

Lol either Cd has one of the most frugal women in existence or you aren't being totally truthful. Most wealthy women such as Ivanka and Melania trump heck even Hillary and other wives and daughters of rich people don't have a problem spending that much on clothes lol
