I work in New York City @ a very prestigious firm but we have a casual dress code as well. I always wear skinnies, as do many other women. It's never been an issue. We even have people that wear shorts here. It's pretty much anything goes in my office, lol. But yeah, you could always do skinnies, pumps and a blazer - that is a good & classy look for work. (I'm assuming you're a woman).

I think some of you are thinking of jeggings. Which aren't the same as skinny jeans.
