Maybe, to answer the OP's question, because no one looks like that. Working where I did I saw some"beautiful" famous people. If you saw most of them in the grocery store, you wouldn't look twice. The makeup, the lighting, the lens, the photo enhancing can make up for a whole bunch of flaws! Besides, great looks are only important if you're looking for a one night stand! That's why the saying goes, show me a beautiful woman and I'll show you a guy who's tired of... Well, you get it now?

Honestly, a few of the football players are probably similar in physique, but I will tell you from experience that playing football isn't conducive to great skin, and short hair is much nicer underneath a helmet.

The guy in the photo has short hair, though. Except for it being a bit longer on top toward the front. Football players used to wear their hair that way, back when that, or similar styles were fashionable. The reason many wear buzz cuts now is simply because buzz cuts, for some unfathomable reason, have been popular for quite awhile.
