The tattoos I got when I was young seemed so cool. My friends all had tattoos and I was under extreme peer pressure to get them so I would be part of the group. No one wants to be an outsider.
Now I am not in that group anymore. What seemed so cool at age 23, now seems pretty dumb at age 31.
Anyone like me who now understands how stupid they were when they were young and got all kinds of tattoos to fit in? And now are thinking about the long painful and expensive removal process? OR: As you got older and more mature now think tattoos are just great?

Not me. I'm the opposite. Now that I'm older, I feel more confident in choosing something that I won't regret down the road. Just got my first tattoo a year ago, and I'm in my 40's.
I'm in my 30s, and I thought they were fine when I was younger, and have continued to think they are fine, which is probably why I have 24 and counting. Though the work I've had done in the last 9-10 years have been custom, so my taste in work/style has evolved overtime, though not necessarily due to age.
My answer is that I'm glad I got the two I got when I got them, am not sick of them, don't regret them, and probably won't get any others...not because of disliking them, but because I already have the ones I want.
I got them at 26 and 30, versus when I was a kid, carefully considered what I wanted and where for years, am satisfied with them and have never regretted them or considered removal at all. Had I not been 100% sold on them, I'd never have gotten them.
