How crooked are we talking about? Teeth/smile is the first thing I notice about someone. If the teeth are super jacked up but with their mouth closed they are attractive, I would still go for ugly with great teeth.
This is assuming if we have crooked teeth they can be fixed or does this hypothetical mean we can't get our teeth fixed?
In most cases I would choose the crooked teeth assuming I could get braces. And how "unattractive" are we talking here if we had perfect teeth: Amy Schumer unattractive or the Elephant Man unattractive?
I don't understand the obsession with peoples teeth. I notice teeth and sometimes think 'oh his teeth could be whiter or straighter" but its not a big deal to me. I have straight fairly white teeth but mine aren't smashed tightly against each other - I don't have a problem with the distance in my teeth. A friend who is an orthodontic tech pushes and pushes and pushes me to "let" her put braces on my teeth. "you'd be a knockout after i get through". It's really not a big deal. If someone is turned off because I don't have neon white denture teeth - that's their issue.
I know there are snaggled tooth mouths out there. There are those whose teeth glow in the dark they are so white - what does that do for you - is it improving you life? does it make you more friends? does it earn you more money - for the typical person - not an entertainer-
I think its just another insecurity emphasized by the social media wannabes.
