I mostly see girls wearing "smedium" t-shirts, soccer shorts that stop mid-thigh and either flip flops or tennis shoes. Some ladies will opt for the tight yoga pants and tank top if they're working out. I've seen the XL t-shirt and shorts outfit on high school aged girls but not really college-aged (I can only guess ages though).

The college aged women that do go with an XL shirt seem to be of the, uh, "chestier" persuasion where that sized shirt just happens to fit better without drawing undue attention to oneself.

We have 3 high schools within 2 miles near us, and that was the "uniform" for high school girls too, once the weather warmed up toward the end of the school year.

It's better than the pajamas I saw students wearing to 8 am classes in college. I also prefer it to the short shorts with the sorority letters on the butt.

Men now easily outdress women at least on campuses. Thoughts?
Maybe if we're talking about New Hampshire or Ohio, but certainly not Arizona or California.

Didn't get to see the pics, but overalls are back in style? Cool! All us college girls wore them in the 70's, with tube tops under. This was in SoCal. Not gonna go there now, though!

I knew someone who was in college in about 2005. She wore old T-shirts and sweatpants to go out, even to her birthday dinner. Her mom complained like mad.

XL hoodies and athletic shorts (I'm assuming booty shorts) look even worse because they are wearing less clothes than before.

I am 60 yrs. old.

I wore cut off shorts and extra large tshirts because they were (and still are) comfortable.

It was also a 'thing' to wear short athletic shorts when I was in my late teens early 20's. This look has been around for a long long time. And personally, I don't think anything about it.

It WAS also in fashion once upon a time, for girls to wear men's boxer shorts and tshirts. So what?

Part of going to college is to actually LEARN. Girls should wear what they're comfortable wearing, pretty much whatever they're comfortable with.
