Not sure if this is correct forum to post this. Do you mind sharing the same deodorant depenser with other members of your household or do you see it as a personal product and each member of the household (except children) should have their deodorant? Also do you prefer roll-on or spray deodorant?

I'm not a fan of sharing deodorant. I don't really have a logical reason why, it's just a mental "ick" factor.

I would share a spray deodorant - not a roll-on (I agree, it's an ICK thing)

Eeew, I agree, and would never use aerosol so my deodorant is mine only.

It's up there with tooth brush sharing, so yes it's personal.

There's nothing good about spray deodorants. Its either destroying the ozone (older products), just polluting the air, or aerosolizing chemicals that should never go into your lungs into your lungs if you spray in an enclosed space like a bathroom. Throw em out and don't buy them!

As to original question - no they are personal. And considering the different bacterial fauna on each persons skin, its probably not the type of thing you should ever share unless the family is stony stony broke.

Yes, it's personal. I have four people in the house and every person uses their own separate deodorant. My kid has borrowed mine or my husband's when she couldn't find hers, but that doesn't happen often.

Yes. I'd put a bar of soap in that category as well.

I like spray in the summer. To spray all over! In fact I am glad for the reminder to get some. I would not share the type that is applied directly to the skin unless there was some sort of emergency and in that case I would shave some off so that the part I am to use has not been on someone else's skin.

No it does not bother me to share with family members.
