I would have guessed him to be well into his 40's. I'm too good at reading ages, and I upset a 50-something a few weeks ago because my guess wasn't what he hoped to hear.
Wow. Fabulous genetics. And his lifestyle sure makes a difference.
Agreed on both. But it's probably more lifestyle than genetics. Get away from crappy processed foods and eat more fruits & veggies, and a lot more people could look like that at 50.
Some people just have good genetics. My dad's youngest sister looked at least twenty years younger last time I saw her. She is thin and also very pretty. My oldest aunt turned 80 last month. You wouldn't guess it from her looks. She also looks 15-20 years younger.
There is a senior at the center I used to volunteer at and I thought she was in her early 70s. I couldn't believe when I heard her telling someone, "I am 93."
My coworker got a good laugh once because I thought she was in her late 30s. She laughed at me and said, "I am a grandmother!"
I'd be mortified if my dad or grandfather were posting naked selfies, acting like a teenager on social media. I can't believe people find this sort of behavior attractive.

That's because he's related to you. I can see how it will humiliate you. I'll feel the same way, but who are to decide what our parents do on social media. It's their life. Heck, they put up a lot with their children and would cope with them being pornstars. So this is nothing.
What I meant up there is that, at 50, you're old enough to have grandchildren. And I find it hard to believe that a guy like him can potentially be a grandpa.
