I had a teacher in college who wore; gray trousers, a white short sleeve shirt and a blue blazer every day. It was something that we noticed in retrospect. I could go for that, that is one bland outfit that serves many purposes. I went to a concert at an art gallery and sat with three couples. The guys including myself were all wearing; denim, light blue shirts and dark blue blazers. It didn't seem odd at all.

One of my best friends has been wearing black T-shirt and jeans and western boots for many years every day. IMO some fashion trends are so bland that you can get away with wearing some combinations every day. I noticed this back in the 90's at an out door event in September it seemed like most of the women were wearing black and Khaki. Black tops and khaki shorts.

Kind of a tough question. There are certain items that I actually like wearing. I suppose if I could wear that everyday for the rest of my life, I wouldn't mind.

However, realistically, that is not practical because clothes eventually wear out and fall apart.

My wife gives me a hard time if I wear the same item twice in a week; even tennis clothes.

This T shirt that my friend wears is a Merino Wool T-shirt. He claims he can wear the same shirt over and over in winter or summer without washing it and it wont stink. They are pricey. I had a pair of black wool slacks that I could wear like that. they were expensive too but you only need one or two pair. I think I wore them for 10-15 years, dry cleaning them once or twice a year and they looked new everyday.

Well, if you only wore the 'same thing every day forever,' wouldn't you have to have at least 2 or 3 sets of the 'same thing' so you could launder them?

I could probably go for this. With one really nice special outfit 'just in case.'

I wore a uniform for many many years for work and there is great utility in that. When I moved to a different setting in the same organization, it was business attire. "what are you wearing tomorrow?" answer: "Black pants and a shirt." I hate fussing over clothes. LIke, really. Same for shoes.

I wear a bathing suit every day. Three of my suits are the exact same Lands End swimsuit. Why not?

Yes, when I win the lottery I will just order from Rent the Runway. No need to worry about closet space
