If a woman has the body for it then good on her, I would rather see a 60 year old size 2 woman who spends 4 hours a day at the gym wearing skimpy clothes than a size 12 25 year old trying to squeeze into clothes made for a size 4(which I see way too often).
I met a neo hippie chic downtown who had a body that was amazing and she looked to be about 33 or so, after talking to her it turned out that she was 68, yep it turned out she was not a neo-hippy like I first thought, but an actual hippy, she was a yoga instructor/vegan dietitian and had been so since 1973.
she must kick father time in the nads every time he comes near her lol. because I swear she looked like she was a mid 30's hottie that just went prematurely grey.
My girlfriend is 60, most people who see her or a picture of her mistake her for many, many years younger. She wears clothes most 35 year olds cannot wear, she walks 8 miles a day, eats appropriately, and will put most much younger men and women to shame on a hike or climb.
Quite frankly I don't care what women wear. I wear Levi Skinny jeans because I can. I have skinny legs. I live in them well sort of lol I'm 64 yrs old and I know what I look best in and that's how I dress. I don't try to look younger - not at all. I'm gun shy and have never wore low cut blouses.
I believe a woman can dress classy and still be sexy.
When I see extremely old men with women young enough to be their daughters, I nearly gag. Example: Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones. No matter how old she gets, she'll never look as old as he does now.
Or Hugh Hefner and anyone. Ugh.
And we have another example in the White House. Politics aside, that's an unattractively-matched couple.
Earlier today I was doing some shopping and running some errands. When I was checking out there was a woman in front of me that was probably 40-45 but she was wearing a very low-cut top and booty shorts. Granted, she seemed to be in shape and good for her age, but nevertheless, after a certain age is it really appropriate for women to be wearing very skimpy/revealing things? Say about 35 but 40 at the latest?
I think that people should wear whatever they want to wear at any age (provided it is not ilegal and does not make them a target of anything that could endanger theirs or anyone else's life).
Alana Stewart and her ex husband George Hamilton show you don't have to look like Mr and Mrs Santa Claus when you are in your seventies. Update your look and stay fit and healthy. Look at her video toward the bottom of the page when she meets fans.
She does look great. No doubt she's had some plastic surgery or botox or whatever. But she is tastefully dressed. She's not wearing skin tight hot pants and a low cut top, even though she has the figure for it.
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
