You do, because if your cleanser dries out your skin, your skin will produce more oil to compensate. I have very oily skin, and I've found that using a very light oil-free moisturizer does wonders for my skin texture. I still have to blot during the day, but that's just how my skin is.

Yes, yes, yes! It's a myth that people with oily skin shouldn't moisturize. Quite the opposite ... because your skin is dehydrated, it's producing more oil.

I have oily skin (or, I did before I began my skin regimen. Now it's more normal). I use a lightweight moisturizer in the morning (something that absorbs well because I don't want it to interfere with my makeup). At night, I either use a more emollient cream (designed for oily skin) or I use an oil blend. (In addition to my other cleansers and serums)

How old are you? Do you even need to moisturize at all? Do you live in a humid environment? I only started moisturizing after moving to a desert environment.

Yes....it's super common to think you don't need to moisturize if you have oily skin....BUT the #1 reason all skin types need to moisturize is hydration. Your skin might have enough oil but it doesn't mean it has enough water.....

I have kinda oily skin too. Look for moisturizers that have glycerin & hyaluronic acid because they don't trap oils.
