How many pairs of jeans do you own ? (washed, professional, buy)

Probably around 18.

I don't have many "dressier" clothes as i worked for the USPS for 19 yrs before retirement.

Around a dozen pair. Some black jeans for dress and the rest for horses. Nothing is more practical.

I don't think 20 pair is that much. I have boot cut, jeggings, white jeans, trouser jeans, etc.

The 20 that don't fit are pretty much the same stuff, only a size bigger.

10 pair, 2 in dark indigo, 2 medium wash, 2 light blue, 2 black, 1 white and 1 grey. Another 6 pair that are too big (yeah) and in a bag to go to the Salvation Army this week.
Since I'm retired I wear them a lot.

Three. Two dark blue and one black. I wear jeans every day in cooler weather (now), and don't need more than that.

Probably a topic for another thread, but it makes sense that people who wash their jeans after each wear would feel they need more pairs, and people who wear them at least 2-3 times before washing (me) find a few to be enough.

Still 20+ pairs seems like overkill for anyone!

40 is a lot. Whether they fit or not. But if it works for you, and you have the space for it, rock on!
