LL Bean or Orvis are good quality brands.

If he isn't quite ready to go to Levis.......Dockers have jeans for mature men and so does Hagar. But try to get him to try the Levis relaxed fit 550s, 559, and 569. Lee also has relaxed fit for the mature man, too.

71 and wearing Dickie's carpenter jeans. The side leg pocket fits my cel phone, a must for me, I can't stand carrying it in a front or rear pocket.

I finally have convinced my DH to buy something other than khakis for casual nights out ... but haven't a clue whats out there for him. He's 6'1" and 200lbs. Help, please!
He is almost the same size as my 67 yr old husband. There are a lot of variables, but my hubby has the best luck with Levi’s. Which type, will need to be determined by your husband taking his body to the store and trying a few on. If he is like my husband, this is not something he wants to do, but once you find the right pair, you’re golden, because you can just keep ordering the same thing. You should go with him, because he can’t see behind him. For us, it’s a hunt to find the style that fits him in the bum without being baggy, but still goes around the wee pot belly.

We'll be hunting for Levis in a department store in person soon.
The hardest part is the "dress" part -- not to look like a work jean or stroll-in-the-park type. So hearing the style #s some of you gave is very helpful. Young men have many brands/choices that we would reject as too trendy for our age. Thanks, again.

My guy will be 60 young this month He is a 35/30. He likes black jeans as they are a bit dressier than blue jeans. For years he bought Levi's but they have gotten ridiculously overpriced. He tried Wranglers but the main stream Wranglers are a "U" shape and it looks like the man is wearing a diaper. He did get a very nice pair of black Wranglers at a western store but the metal tabs are very noticeable. They do fit him very nicely though Rustler is a slimmer fit, good quality and fit pretty well. We travel and go to many RV parks. Many of the older men wear Rustler. You can't beat the price for everyday. Read the reviews and you decide. One thing nice is you can order different ones, colors and sizes, have them shipped free to your home and he can try them on there. If it's not a go just do an easy return

I won't pay the going prices for jeans today. To darn expensive for me.

I live in cheap sweat pants, cheap shorts,Croc's and tee shirts (w/pocket) year round. I'm clean, my clothes are in good shape so I don't give a darn what other people think.....I'm comfortable.

I will just add that we have become big fans of the clothing from Duluth Trading. We will be trying a pair of jeans from there next time. The prices are a bit higher, but the quality is super. Actually, I just saw they’re on sale for $23.70.

My husband is 6'5 36x34 and wears skinny, distressed jeans like this.

He's 62 if age matters.
