Is there one particular type or brand of fashion item that you're 'addicted' to?
My fashion addiction is those artsy-antiquey-print tops... the ones that look like vintage ads or posters or whatever. I have them in long, 3/4, short, and even a few sleeveless lengths -- at least 2 dozen at last count! I love them because to me they are like 'wearable art'. I've been buying them for the past 3 years or so but intend to keep wearing them until either they or I fall apart! ;-)
My first and foremost addiction is handbags and I spend way more on bags than I do on clothes or shoes. My favorite brands are Rebecca Minkoff, Coach, Tano and Fendi.
Other things I buy in "bulk"...meaning I have it in several colors...
-Bebe logo rhinestone tank tops
-MAC eye shadow
-Ed Hardy T-Shirts (but none with skulls, I look for the crosses and the hearts etc.)
-Bebe sweat pants
-New York and Company track suits
-Narrow style sneakers by Diesel and Puma
Shoes, and although there are subcategories to my addiction to shoes, it's a quasi-practical passion. I do a lot of fitness walking and hiking, so there are special shoes for each of those, and more than one pair because it's not good to wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row.
Then in this climate you gotta have boots. Snow boots. Mud boots. Boots that look decent with a dress.
Garden shoes. Seriously. I have shoes just for gardening. They have to support my feet, not be slippery when wet, and be able to be hosed down.
Walking shoes that aren't athletic shoes. For when you're on your feet a lot, but don't want to wear running shoes and socks.
