I'm using Revlon Colorstay 24 hour whipped that I found thru a blogpost linked on CD somewhere, where a mature women test-drove a bunch of different foundations and this was her winner. it's getting a bit harder to find, so I hope they aren't discontinuing the formula. I have normal skin that can be a bit dry over the cheeks in the winter. The foundation stays on well and doesn't get cakey or settle into lines, but I do find it goes a wee bit orange-y by 8:00 at night when I go to wash it off, but not horribly so. I wear the light ivory color.
The foundation in the link provided is a big pricey for many people. I've been wearing a Cover Girl Hydrating foundation but am finding it cakes up by the end of the day no matter how much moisturizer and primer I use. Also tried Loreal Visible Lift with the same issue. My sister gave me some Clinique CC foundation that was too light for her complexion and I'm going to try that this week. Otherwise I may have to splurge on a better brand at Macy's or Dillards.
I don't wear foundation that often since I only work two days a week so I don't want to spend $50 for make-up that will get rancid after a while.
Anybody like the mineral foundations or are they too drying for mature skin? (I'm 63).
She asked what made us choose what we use. I answered. I was unaware there was a price limitation on the question. I don’t see one.
Why do some people have to get snarky for no reason? I wasn't passing judgment on anyone because of what they spend on foundation. I just said it was a little pricey for me.

If it’s too expensive for you, then quietly move on. You didn’t answer every other post explaining why their pick didn’t work for you.
For those having trouble color matching, go to Sephora. They have a hand-held device that can tell you your color match code which then matches to the brands that they carry. They can also tell you which brands will work best for your skin type and the look you're trying to achieve.
Sephora is the one that is in the larger J.C. Penney's?
