As the title asks how many people here(most likely women) never or very rarely wear makeup? I for one never do I'm 29.5 and prefer not to wear it ever. I take real good care of my health.. good diet, liquid mineral blend in 100% juice 3-4 times a week, 64 oz or more water a day, exercise etc. I exfoliate 2 times a week and the other 2 days I wash regularly, I don't bathe the other three days for a skin break. I drink organic soy milk(for phytoestrogens) and take Milk Thistle for liver health, and Vitamins and never ever drink alcohol or do any drugs. So with that said my skin is very youthful a pretty people say I look 20 when I'm 29. IMHO I prefer to be for lack of a better term natural looking than wearing makeup.. and naturally beautiful people should never 'need' it to feel confident to face their day.
I do not wear makeup often due to laziness. I might put on lipstick or lip gloss. Sometimes I'll put kn blush when going out. For fancy events I'll put on a full face. Day tomday I am bare faced.
It has a lot to do with the fact that as a teen etc there were not foundation options for me. Particularly in the small metro I soent my teen years in. My skin was pretty good so it wasn't a big deal. I have had some periods when my skin wasn't very even, so I started shopping for makeup. I got some but didn't it on often.
Over the past couple of years I have focused on evening out my skin tone (I blemish very easily). It has worked well and my skin is just about as good as my 16 year old self at 39. Good enough for me.
I only wear make-up to go to work which is only two days a week. If I'm just going grocery shopping I might put on lipstick and mascara and that's it. The worst part of putting on a full face is taking if off at night. When I was younger I would never leave the house without a full face. If I had a naturally flawless complexion with long, dark eyelashes I wouldn't bother with anything other maybe a light lipstick or lip gloss.
Not me. I wear makeup every day. I enjoy the ritual and artistry of it.
Me too. Some people insist that if you'd just drink more water or whatever that you'd have flawless skin, but that's too simplistic. I have blotchy, oily skin that benefits from some makeup coverage. I also wear glasses, so I like to play around with eye makeup to make my eyes pop from behind the frames.
I don't wear make up except for chapstick when my lips feel dry. I'm sure a little make up could enhance some of my features but I never learned how to do it and I don't have the patience or the desire to learn.

I love when people tell me that. I respond that I average 90 oz. each day and ask how much more they recommend? LOL
My skin has actually improved a great deal since I've started a regimen of products, and could go without makeup, but I still prefer how I look with it. I feel more polished and put together.
