If you can see the Areola (the darkened area around the nipple) the blouse is cut too low.

What is it with men and wanting to police women's looks? And especially what's the deal with presumably young men wanting to criticize older women's looks?

I like women over 35+, it's the younger ones that need to cover up

Too low cut isn’t a classy look on anyone, but there isn’t an age limit on it. Even if there is, some of you people need to realize what an older woman really is. 30s and 40s isn’t it. Heck. 50s really isn’t either anymore.

nothing against low cut, but why do people feel offended if people stare if they wear it? they aren't wearing it for the "breeze"... they want the attention and people to look at them

if being too "old" prevents people from wearing it, then what's "too young"? Is <18 too young since they would be "jail bait"?

I wonder why people always ask questions about what women over a certain age should do - how long they should wear their hair and what type of clothes are appropriate. I'd say it has to do more with the body than the age. There are a lot of 60 year old breasts that look better than some 30 year old breasts that I've seen. Same with legs, midriffs, butts, etc. Having weight proportional to height has a lot to do with it at any age.

Wear it as long as it looks good, no matter the age.

I am so sick of these threads about “older women” and their clothing choices. As if you’re supposed to pick up your burka on your 35th birthday, or something.

However, the tops you described sound tacky to me at any age.
I am sick of them also.

Women over 35 may where what ever they please - and it need not please the OP.

If you are UNDER a certain age, and living in your parent's home, that might be a whole other story.

Don't like what you see? Turn your head and shut your mouth. This is NOT your call!

How do you see the difference between a 33 year old and a 36 year old?

I mean, a 36 year old is just waaay to old to wear anything sexy. Over the Hill old. Leave that kind of clothing for the 34 year old.

I am really old. Over the hill old. But I like wearing tanks and fitted clothing. Maybe because I try to take care of my self and look good. My husband likes it so that is what matters.

Anyhow, when I was 34 I was in school taking a phycology class. My teacher was a couple of years younger than me. She was pretty, but very obese. Anyways, one day before lecture the topic on older women and appropriate clothing came up. She actually sat there and dissed JLO for being too old to wear the outfits she was wearing. " " she is just too old for that stuff being over 40..."

Are you kidding me? JLO looks amazing. You wish you were that hot ..lol
