I read somewhere she left a note for her daughter telling her it wasn't her fault. I couldn't imagine what kind of pain she was in to do some thing like that.
She is from here, and the city paper made contact with her family. Her sister (who, based on the interview and the quotes she gave, doesn't come off as very stable herself) stated that mental health concerns have been a long-term issue.
That’s very sad, I’ve enjoyed wearing her handbags. She was a talented lady who should have sought help with whatever the issue was. I feel sorry for her child and spouse.

Even though this story is about a tragic loss, I too wondered about that. The brand can't help but be permanently tainted when the name is the very person who committed suicide.
