I was wondering, has anyone heard of the experimental Amazon Prime Wardrobe service where you get to try on clothes for 7 days before you buy? Apparently I was invited into the program probably due to my purchase history.
Seems like an interesting concept, although you are required to include at least three items in order to use the service. Also, since the items may be in different fulfillment centers, two-day shipping may not be available since in this service Amazon consolidates your items into one box.

No, it's available to all Prime members.

It's basically it's like TrunkClub, StitchFix, etc., except without the personal stylist service. It's not really a new concept.

I agree that the home try on is not really a new concept. I disagree about it being similar to the services you mention though, because their entire business is built on the backbone of the personal stylist. So it's hard to say it's 'similar to X, minus the core of the business'. This is just 'pick out some clothes and you have 7 days to decide if you want to keep it before we charge you'.

I did say "without the personal stylist service." But it IS similar in the sense that you're sent multiple pieces and you only pay for what you decide to keep and send back the rest. In this case, it's personally curated rather than having someone do that for you.

I see. I had glanced at it this week, but didnt look in detail because they dont tend to carry brands/options I prefer for clothing. Is it curated based on past purchases or do you do some sort of survey or something?
Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus have such excellent returns, and I get free shipping with both, it would kind of be a step down for me to start with Amazon. However, I am a Prime member.
