Runway models are really just meant to be walking hangers. That's why they're so frequently emotionless. The focus is supposed to be on the fashion, not the wearer. (There are exceptions, of course)
Well, I was being facetious - I think the collection is horrible and I think modeling in general is an industry rife with issues, abuse, and, frankly, ridiculousness but to each his or her own.
Avant garde = not intended for street wear. It's fashion as art.
Not that I needed any proof, but this just goes to show that one man's treasure is CERTAINLY another man's trash.
Also, money can't buy good taste.
Also, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Also, "art" is definitely subjective.
I have several beautiful books on fashion through the ages, haute couture, etc, and most enduring fashions have elements of both surprise AND beauty, not to mention excellent craftsmanship, which are very evident and timeless even when they are cutting edge. I doubt seriously that any of these monstrosities will be gracing display cases in museums 50 or 100 or 500 years from now. Gosh, I hope not. I'd hate for anyone in the future to think people actually dressed this way in the 2010s!
Of course art is subjective. That is the only absolute that applies to art. Some people think Thomas Kinkade is amazingly gifted and creates beautiful art. I think it's drivel. Is it my place to declare his paintings are not art? Nope.

Well, how many randomly chosen collections WOULD be? One-tenth of 1%?....one_thousandth of 1%? The odds are against any collection being around in 50 years....OP just found something weird to post with no fashion sense used in its selection. Only intended for entertainment purposes.
