I'm watching this youtube video and the vlogger suggests using Coconut Oil, Castor Oil, and Vitamin E Oil on the eyelashes. I would like to try this but I wonder if these ingredients are safe for the eyes. I also read that Vaseline helps to extend eyelashes.
Sorry, but putting castor oil will not affect the inherent length to which your eyelashes grow. That is genetically determined just like how long and dark the hair on your arms or legs will grow if you leave it alone.

....except if you use certain glaucoma medications. I am eighty and I have women shrieking with envy over my ever-growing eyelashes. I have to cut them to keep them from dirtying my glasses or getting caught at the corners on my eyebrows.
Of course this beauty aid is available only for people with glaucoma.
Latisse and Lumigan are the prescription lash-growing serums; these are both name brands of bitmaprost, which was originally developed for treating glaucoma. There are chemically similar prostaglandin serums that you can buy without a prescription. I use Nu-Lash which I bought through Amazon.
Be aware that the same possible side effects from the Rx drugs are also possible with the chemically similar serums: dry eye, changes/darkening in iris color, eyelid irritation, purple discoloration of the eyelids, etc. I had used Latisse under a doctor's Rx many years ago and didn't have any side effects (I also have brown eyes, so any iris color changes wouldn't show up).
I am pleased with the Nu-Lash. I've been using it for about 5 weeks now and my lash length has nearly doubled. My lashes had gotten very short and stubby as I've aged. I still have to dye them because they've also lost color to near invisibility and I don't like wearing mascara on the regular.
I just finally gave up and started wearing false. They make some really nice natural looking ones now. It takes a little while to get good at applying them though. I buy cheap ones and try to use them often so that I get the practice.
sounds all like BS. You either have them naturally or you dont. Get fake ones like the rest of us unfortunate people
