Around a year ago I started a modified Korean skin care routine and my skin has never looked better.

I do not have a nighttime regimen, too lazy. But that can help. I don’t wear makeup
Often so it doesn’t feel necessary to wash the day off.

Sunscreen every day and don't forget your neck. Also stretch your neck muscles regularly (look up at the sky) to avoid those "cords" in your neck that older women get.

Not into beauty products but get a good cleanser...I like Burt's Bees Cleansers, no chemicals.

Moisturizer is essential for any age, for day, use one with sunscreen. Avoid the sun. The areas around my eyes crinkle with laugh lines, crow's feet from years of sunbathing... Neutrogena makes good products, inexpensive.

Wash your face before bed, more moisturizer.

I have found that the less you mess with your skin, the better.

Consistency is important. I agree with those who recommend a gentle cleanser, which you should use morning and night. You should have an idea by now of what skin type you have, and hopefully you already have some products that work for that type.

My other best advice is to care for your skin from the inside. Drink tons of water and avoid too many processed foods. To avoid looking wan you HAVE to get enough sleep.

I'm 44 and have recently seen a significant improvement in my skin. Two things I've been doing differently is washing and moisturizing every.single.night., even if I didn't wear makeup. (I used to be lazy and not wash my face before bed. I know, I know ... ) And I started using the Clarisonic when I wash my face in the morning and at night. Expensive, but worth it IMO!! (And if you're interested in buying one, go for the Mia 2, and check QVC for deals. The Mia 2 usually retails for about $170, but I got it from QVC for about $100, and it included 4 replacement brush heads, which run about $24 each. GREAT deal!)

Well, I guess it's three things I've been doing differently ... I've also started using an oil blend at night before bed (usually instead of a traditional moisturizer). I NEVER would have guessed that putting oil on my face would actually make it less oily! Usually in the summer, my face is an oil slick by lunchtime. It's almost quittin' time now, and I'm not oily at all!

A good skincare routine and lots of water are key. This includes making sure you wear facial sunscreen every day, year round. And yes, I also make sure to moisturize my neck. I think a toner, a serum, moisturizer, and eye cream are the essentials. I just use an SPF moisturizer for day and a night cream for night. I use a retinol serum at night and a brightening serum for day. Everything else is the same. Also NEVER sleep with make up on.

I get facials a few times a year (wish I had time to do every month) and they always comment about my young skin...NO sun damage. I do not try to tan and I always wear my sunscreen. This is so important.

Exercise and absolutely include strength training. You don't have to be a triathlete to stay in shape, but you need to do something.

I have to be much more particular about my food choices now as well. I don't really have leeway in my diet anymore. But everyone is different there. I really really miss the days where I didn't really have to worry about what I ate and drank as long as it was mostly healthy

I do balayage color for my hair. I have dark blonde natural color and am getting little bits of greys around the temples. My stylist makes sure to add blonde highlights where I get my greys and it masks them very well. I'm not one to embrace the grey. No way. (I'm also only 44 and they are just tiny patches but they bug me).

Cant agree more! Sunscreen is really an essential product because most of the time we are really expose to the rays of the sun and sun damage results to a more dull and dry skin which makes us three times older. So I suggest to use sunscreen everyday and moisturize body often. I use to moisturize my body through body massage. I noticed how my skin gets even younger and smoother every time I get a massage to my favorite beauty spa.
