Yes, but generally we don't spend a bunch of time and money on it. As far as I'm concerned, soap, a razor, and sunscreen covers the requirements. In the winter my hands get dry and I use some hand lotion. If I see a "funny mole" I have the doctor check it out (fair skin, dark hair, blue eyes is the genotype most at risk for skin cancer). Done!

I have oily skin, so I generally wash my face in the morning in the shower, and then again in the evening. Depending on what I'm doing, I might also splash my face with water right before bed, but not go a full soap and water deal (but I also don't want to rinse off skincare product.)

Most of the time in the morning I just wash my nose because it is the only thing on my face that gets a little oily, the rest of my face is dry. At night, depending on whether or not I wore make-up that day determines whether I use Clinique's cleansing balm, Dove soap if I've been out in the yard or a cleansing cloth.

Morning before I shower.

I use an organic sugar scrub to scrub my face, neck and arms, steam my skin in the shower then rinse it off. I then use serum and a heavy moisturizer.

Morning and night.

Morning I just use soap and moisturizer. At night, I take my makeup off with Ponds Cold Cream, then use soap and follow up with a glycolic pad, then moisturize.

At night followed by a retinol cream. In the morning, I sometimes use a light moisturizer if my skin is feeling dry.

I wash my face upon waking, at night before bed, and during the day if I get really sweaty, i.e., hot day, physical activity, etc.

When I was young(er), I was sometimes lazy and didn’t remove my makeup or wash my face at night, my excuse being I was too tired from work, etc. Big mistake! Always, always, always remove that makeup, no matter how exhausted you are! Use something mild to wash with, and be gentle to your eyelids and under-eye skin; use a non-greasy eye cream, you’ll be so glad you took the time to do this as you age, trust me!

I cleanse at night witha fresh washcloth and CeraVe hydrating cleanser, use Neutrogena non alcoholic toner, use my Metrogel, top with The Ordinary 2% Retinol in squalane, top that with The Ordinary essential moisture +HA.

Now, in the morning, I shower, and rinse my face, and toner, then The Ordinary EUK, then CeraVe, and whatever makeup I’m wearing. Usually just blush and mascara.

Honestly, I’ve just started this routine. I do love how my skin feels with The Ordinary, and I love the price!! Both serums are just a few drops, and I’m using less moisturizer.

I’m making sure I use a fresh cloth nightly, because I am having an eye issue that my opthamologist can’t pin down, so instead of cleansing and splashing not using a cloth at all, I’m making sure I thoroughly clean my lashes and rub a little with the cloth, in case it’s blepharitis rearing it’s head. Which I’ve been assured it isn’t. (My eye was red and irritated. No infection, no something stuck, just red and irritated. After a month of prednisone drops and multiple times a day artificial tears, it’s abating. Very slowly)
