I have a $50 statement credit for Saks Fifth Avenue for use through the end of the year via my AMEX Platinum Card. Given that Saks is a high end/high price store, I'm curious to know what some on these forums get for under $50. I'm a male by the way, if that helps matters. I can make the purchase in store or online.

Many thanks in advance!

Underwear, socks, health and beauty aids.

I'm sure you can also use the gift card at Off Fifth which is less expensive.

Thanks! Yeah its a statement credit, so I'll have to look into whether it'll apply to items purchased at Off Fifth.

Does it have to be under $50? You can go to their website and filter stuff under $50, and there is a Sales section. You selection expands a lot more if you can spend closer to $100.

If you can use that gift card at Saks Off Fifth and there is one near you, use it there. Tons of good stuff for under $50 — very good shirts, pants, jeans, jackets, hoodies, athletic wear to name few. And almost always name brand stuff. Not junk. I go to a brick and mortar store but I’d wager they’re online too.

Honestly, the easy answer is SOCKS. Saks carries the sorts of socks worn by Upper Class men (over-the-calf, and in natural fibres). The knits are tighter more delicate, and the colors/patterns are better. That kind of money won't buy even ONE pair where my husband shops. He's a Brioni/Battaglia loyalist, now, and the boys are shopping mostly in Italy, these days, or at Trillion. But we used to get ALL their socks at Saks. I presume that offline (the website is only showing hoodratwear), somewhere, they still stock their wonderful cotton lisle socks, along with Merino wool/cashmere and SILK (so very useful) - as well as the various blends. I do notice that they show a good selection of sub-ankle-length 'invisible' types, which are what my guys generally end up wearing - even with suits, since it's so infernally hot everywhere, now.
