I certainly was surprised the last time I went shopping to see some stores selling fleece lined jeans and thermal jackets; the kind you might wear if you lived in Vermont.
This is why online shopping is benefitting, where you can buy what remains of previous spring/summer collections year-round in warm climates. I recently did a thread asking if you think the seasonal fashion calendars are hurting department stores. I would think many in warmer climates would prefer to be offered the spring/summer collections year-round if given the choice. For those in very cold climates, they would probably like the fall/winter collections to be in stores longer.
I, in midwest, not only have 4 seasons to think about but also "transition" seasons to think about. So I am thinking about "transition" piece between winter and spring & one thing i would like to add is relax fit cardigan in spring color for the cozy bright feel.

In fact, some fashion companies are in fact accommodating transitional clothes in their spring collections. Examples include lightweight sweatshirts and hoodies in spring colors.
I like them because they are mid range priced between Sam Edelmen and Manolo Blahnik.
My wardrobe doesn't change.
White denim all the time.
LOL - I'm trying to picture the OP wearing a pair of these shoes with his pink polo style shirts.
