The only jewelry I wear anymore is my wedding ring. I remember when I used to match my earrings and necklaces to my work outfits, along with my purse and shoes. I gave all of those up when I retired 13 years ago. I even let my pierced ears close up, so I don't wear earrings at all now. Actually, I don't wear much makeup either since I was in the hospital last year. I just kind of got out of the habit. After almost dying, it didn't seem so important to me anymore. These days I'm more "what you see is all there is".

Love them BOTH, but I'll give up jewelry.

Definitely jewelry. All I wear is my wedding ring and an occasional necklace, so no one would notice anyway.

I would never give up my jewelry.

If I had to sell it, I could buy somewhere to live.

jewelry

I like how my eyes pop with mascara. A bracelet won't do that

Definitely makeup. It kind of sucks anyway, and jewelry is much prettier.

I am not giving up jewelry. I quit wearing makeup in my 20s because I played so hard. Skiing, water sports, the gym.....it was just a nuisance and guys never seemed to care so I figured why bother. I do like perfume and I'd hate to give it up but I could.

I also think the fact that I don't wear makeup is the reason my eyes lids aren't saggy and wrinkled like most of my friends.

I used to feel the same with makeup until I found water based foundations with less junk in them... years ago however they were all oily, and know what you mean.. I used to feel dirty all the time .
