This is hard.....makeup for me is like fashion. I love to try new looks AND I wear sunscreen & moisturizer in my every day BB cream & that's important to take care of my skin. So...I'd say I'd give up jewelry............everything but my ring.

All makeup....or just lipsticks? I still use my BB cream & eye makeup BUT ita...a lot less. I'm the opposite tho.........I haven't worn much jewelry since Covid other than a small bracelet I always wear & my ring & there are lots of days I haven't even had that on.
So with Covid & how much it changed us from going out.....all of us could probably give up both!
I'd give up jewelry before I'd give up my lipstick and mascara. With the Covid restrictions, I use a long wearing lipstick which doesn't smudge if I need to wear a mask when I go out on an errand. I still like looking good for my husband and I hope that never changes.
This decision has sadly been made for me, as over the years I have lost some nice pendants and earrings just from wearing them to work, or accidentally breaking the necklace chain and not noticing.......
I barely ever wear my nice jewelry. Maybe if it's a special occasion.
Side note about makeup for the lady of a certain age- less is more.
