I often see an older gentleman at my grocery store who might literally rub black shoe polish on his thinning white hair. (I can't imagine that a legit hair product would look like that.) It does not make him look younger.
Yeah, I don't think those are the guys the products are aimed at. The ads show guys with a full head of hair, that's maybe half grey, or something.
What makes a man look much younger than his physical age is his high net worth. Just go to any high-end restaurant in any major metro area, and look around.
Yeah....I bet Jeff Bezos looks better than any GQ model to most women
I think it is mostly about staying and shape, and also being lucky about aging. I'm 63, for decades I have lifted weights and run distance races. I'm lucky that I have a full head of hair that is only slightly gray on the sides. So to answer your question, no, I haven't changed my look at all in the past 20 years. But as far as clothes, aren't jeans and a t-shirt always in style?
Be careful with the t-shirts and jeans......
I saw a guy riding a Harley Fat Boy (Arnold's bike in Terminator 2 movie), guy had on an affliction t-shirt and ed hardy jeans with Converse sneakers. Guy looked like he just came back from 15-20 year time warp!
If I noticed that guy's look as dated, surely women thought much worse of him. Crazy part, he probably thought he looked cool!
There is a line there with those.........some guys look gay in those, other guys look GQ!
Linen? Maybe the color....or some pattern that might look iffy....? I think linen is a standard, men and women. My ex loved it when I bought short sleeved linen for summer, so cool.
