When we went our friend's daughter's Quincenera I wore a suit, my wife a nice dress and we gave cash as a gift.

How much of a cash gift is enough? Like I said it's my grandson's girlfriends party and hubby and I are guests.

Is $100. enough?

Seems generous to me as long as it's affordable to you.

I believe that's what we gave.

sounds good, thanks! I think I'm done obsessing about this.. Lol.. on wait, maybe not..

One more question.. I've never seen a Quincenera card.. Is a birthday card okay?

The funny part of this whole thing is she invited me 2 years ago when she first started dating my grandson and I said 'sure'. Not once did I think seeing as how they were 13 their relationship would last this long. I figured by the time they turned 15 they wouldn't even remember each other's names.. Lol

I don't recall any card, neither does my wife. Sorry about that.

Maybe something along the lines of "Congratulations"?

Sounds good to me! Fifty would probably be okay, too.

They have cards for just about every occasion now. I'm sure a "Congratulations" card would be fine. If you wanted to go the extra mile, you could go to a "Mexican" store and find one.

Hallmark DOES make Quinceanera cards...at least you can buy them online. I've seen a few in my local store, but I would guess that not all Hallmark stores carry them. If not, I'm sure a birthday or "congratulations" card would work as well.
