There will always be suckers. Either that or those sorts of buyers never set foot outdoors long enough to get them dirty on their own.
Say, THAT'S an idea! I'd be happy to custom make them complete with bona fide Alaskan panache. I could even offer seasons...moose poop in winter, bear poop in spring, squashed mosquitos in summer, and salmon guts in autumn. Multi-sensory effects free of charge.
Hilarious!
I would bet that some people would buy them if you market them the right way. Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to what people buy to look cool...
I will take one pair of the festive moose poop winter version ones and one pair of the salmon guts autumn ones since those two are my favorite seasons, lol
Intentionally dirty shoes, jeans with holes in them, sweaters with rips....what next? Who is designing this garbage and more importantly....why are people buying it?
Smart.
Clean sneakers look "nerdy" and kind of poor.
Like you have to keep them immaculate because they are your only pair.
They also look less "lived in" making the person look dull.
I'm not going to buy the sneakers but I do think it's clever of them knowing that worn sneakers look cooler then ones that aren't.
I actually kind of like them, but I wouldn't pay anything close to $870 for them. They look much better than I expected.
