Those tiny yellow bottles, ink.

If no luck there, peroxide.

Still no luck? bleach.

Give up. Its work shirt.

I have 61 years experience doing 100% cotton oxford cloth button down shirts. Our friend, a high dollar divorce lawyer informs me, should we separate, I'll get 80% of the assets due to doing the shirts and laying out today's dress.

so far, one day and done.

Best case, you have a spot on the shirt. Worst case, you have a hole instead of a stain.

Hydrogen peroxide--pour some on the stain and rinse it out after a few minutes.

Make a paste of Oxyclean and brush it on the stain. Then soak the entire garment overnight in Oxyclean.

There is a product I've used since my kids were babies. It's removed wine stains, blood, baby related stains, tomato sauce, ink from copiers, mustard and etc. It's called Tech Stain Remover. It's available in hardware stores, some big box stores, and on Amazon. Best stain remover ever.
Excuse my ignorance, but is hydrogen peroxide substantially different from bleach?

It depends on what it is.

Hydrogen Peroxide poured on spot & then wash, if it is organic.
Liquid Cascade dishwasher put it on any spot on white clothing & wash with Tide.
For grease, some paint, tar, automotive etc. 2 cans of regular Coke poured over stain & wash with Tide.
Goo away works great on sticky adhesives.
