I am 45 yet admittedly wear shorter things. Since I was a cheer leader in high school I do spend a lot of time exercising and working out. My boyfriend is 33 and has said he likes it when I wear mini skirts. Do you think I am in the wrong?
Absolutely not ! When I met my wife, she was in her early 40's and would wear them. Now she is 51 and won't.... she still could but just doesn't. I wish she would.
As long as you got your lady bits covered, heck no. On some women it looks ridiculous, but so do a lot of other fashions, so whatever floats your boat.

Really hard to say. It would be best if you post several pictures of you in the aforementioned "shorter things" so the readers can actually make a fully informed decision and give the best response possible.

I have always prefered a nice longer sundress or a smart business skirt depending on the situation. I have never been a fan of mini skirts, or the women that think they "rock" them no matter what age they are.

Who talks like that? It sounds like you are trying to talk like someone a lot younger than you. I think it is a sure sign you should not be wearing a mini skirt.
If you have the body and personality for it, then go ahead. But you need both.
