Salon dermaplaning is deeper exfoliation than just shaving.......shaving does lightly exfoliate but it can cause acne, redness & more irritation & I wouldn't recommend it for *just* exfoliation. Using it to be rid of peach fuzz is the main reason for shaving at home, if that is the problem....BUT I wouldn't recommend it because there is too much other stuff you can do that is easier on the skin & provides more benefit & deeper exfoliation......if that is what you want.

E D I T: Like a BHA exfoliant....

I have to go in to the bathroom at diff times of the day to chk the light with my huge magnifying mirror to then see if i can find those pesky chin hairs that you can feel but not always see.

Twist and turn to catch the right angle...

I've recently started using those little shavers on the peach fuzz on my face and upper lip. Been doing it about a year and it doesn't make the hair grow darker or thicker and I'm 64. I wish the hair on my legs was just peach fuzz. I still have dark hair that I need to shave every 2nd day.
