Has anyone here had surgery? I am tempted. Of course not covered by our universal healthcare so I am not sure just how expensive it would be. My mother had the same issue even though she was quite a bit darker skinned than me.

OMG, too funny! Not saying never, but not often.

Soooo, as I've aged my face looks pretty good and I always had good skin care, BUT I omitted my neck. Now my neck gives away my age more than the rest.

SO, I've started attacking the neck with retin a, glycolic acid, a derma roller and all that. It's helped, but not as much as I'd like.

From most expensive and intrusive to least:
See a plastic surgeon and see if you need a face or neck lift, then do that.

Try the Silhouette Lift, which has been used in the UK for a decade and in the US for probably 3 years. Temporary, and cost across the us is around 4K. It's for people who don't need a lot of lifting.

Neck tape, like another member suggested.

Learn to live with it.

Good luck, let us know what you decided.

This is a great subject!
I've gained weight, I've lost weight and that affects the neck. I am concerned and I don't think it is avoidable but I sure will do what I can to prevent it as much as I can.

I heard that there is injectables, some laser, zapping treatment that will help with collagen and taking collagen peptides, using medical grade growth factors from ZO Skin Health & SkinMedica, neck creams will help. I also have the NuFace beauty device and use it in that on daily basis, the one at the doctor's office and injections is beyond my reach, even if I did it once in a lifetime treatment. Crazy prices!

These 3 exercises appear to be helpful.
I don't have turkey neck, maybe because I exercise quite a bit, but I'm trying them anyway.

There are a series of exercises you can do. Strange that the people here have never heard of it. It's designed to build collagen and tighten skin.
One exercise is where you smile very wide and hold it. The make an O face with lips....repeat

You will deepen your nasolabial lines and smoker's lines because that's how you get them in the first place!
