OP, you're in the wrong size if the straps slip off your shoulders.

Department stores, even many large women specialty stores, never carry that size (band size too small & cup size too large for almost all women). She bought a brand called Elomi and says that their bras are the most comfortable that she has ever worn. I think that Elomi Matilda Convertible Plunge Bra can be worn as a criss cross back.
Good luck. Post back if you are successful.
Elomi is the only brand I can wear for the same reason. It's a bummer, but I'm grateful they exist or I'd be in real trouble. Elomi uses UK sizes, which are different than US. A UK H is bigger than a US H.
I'm retired and so tired of bras, wore wired so many years a ridge of flesh developed underneath due to friction (38C).
Now wearing sport bra XXL, alternating with camisoles on some days.
Love coming home and throwing the sport bra off, freedom from the anaconda lol.
Like another poster said it's enjoyable being braless but afraid one day I'll "forget" and go grocery shopping that way.
Why must our breasts be so controlled? What would happen if they were natural? Would men lose their minds?
Couple years ago at Nordstrom and another dept. store. They were tight and uncomfortable but they talked me into it, saying it was just stiff and new...SIGH. Once home, the straps fell down and after 1/2 hour, really uncomfortable. Yeah, I've had sizes from 36 to 42, sheesh!
What kind of straps are they?
I am also 38DD and my straps stay in place. They are elasticized. Vanity Fair bras.

I wish I could get away with that. I don't wear one in the house, and my male neighbors who drop by don't seem offended, LOL.
But, during any physical activity, being "loose" is not comfortable either.
We just CAN'T WIN!
