It depends on which photo you look at. In the more recent ones, she definitely looks like she's in her 50s. The extra weight kind of gives that away. If her face were slimmer, it would take 10-15 years off of her.

Well, if we're talking about people in their 50's, it can be a matter of 50 not being what it used to be. The 50's used to be Golden Girl territory, but not any more. A lot of people's image of the 50's is stuck in the past, so when they see someone who looks young at 50, they're surprised, but it's not that unusual anymore.
