From a raw physical-attractiveness angle, the second guy might be as or more handsome than the first guy. But from these pictures, the first guy looks a lot more social - which is not just that he's fun; being social makes you look higher in social status because you presumably have a lot of friends. Hard to tell but the first guy also seems better dressed.
