Are these the kinds of t-shirts they're actually selling these days for kids to actually wear?! I'm specifically talking about the one that says, "Let's Sacrifice Toby" showing a child about to plunge a knife into another kid while a third child holds him down. There are other similar disturbing pictures and sayings on other shirts.

What has this world come to?!

(Tried to fix the sideways view.)

These kinds of artistic clothing aren't new. So asking "What has this world come to?!" doesn't really make sense to me.

People will sell anything that is in demand.

I don’t think that’s going to make the OP feel any better.

Ha, it sure doesn't. I don't see anything good about it. This definitely isn't funny to me.

If a kid makes a remark of even pulling a hair out of the head of another student in school, the powers that be are called in. I can't imagine that any kid would be allowed to wear one of these to school. If so... the schools had better make up their mind which side of the path they're gonna take their stand on. I do agree... they're disgusting but, I see a lot of other types that are just as disgusting to me too.

I would presume though that these shirts are probably purchased by persons older than school age (?).

I took a look at it online, and the "Toby" t-shirts are only in sizes for adults. They're too large and not meant for school kids. While it might be pretty morbid, it's meant to be more of an off-beat twisted sense of humor. For example, there are t-shirts for women showing a Ps4 controller with the controller knobs strategically located, implying that the viewer should put their hands on the controller knobs. In the photo you posted, there's another called, "My First Alien Autopsy", showing a couple of little kids dressed as a doctor and nurse, and holding a large knife with an alien sliced open on an operating table.

[snip]
That is very true; these are not meant for kids but for adults. Adults can wear them to a party or bar, for example. Back in my party days I used to wear some funny 'adult' t-shirts that I can't repeat what they said here without getting into trouble, but they were a lot of fun to wear!!!

OP - Iggier in post #3 linked Spencer's Gifts, so that's a clue right there. That and common sense. Spencer's isn't where most moms and dads take their kids for school clothes.
