Do men still wear those awful "wife beaters" anymore?

They are fine as fashion items. I can take them or leave them.

But the last known person who actually wore them as an undershirt was the old guy (Fish) on the 1970's sitcom Barney Miller.

That's easy to say for you. Tell that to those women who flee to Domestic Violence Shelters. Just think about that, they have shelters just for Domestic Violence and there are many of them. Maybe consider being MORE sensitive about it.

We're talking about undershirts.



If people are triggered by the term "wifebeater" even when the discussion is about undershirts, then clearly people need to start calling them "athletic undershirts" as the manufacturers have named them.
