Charms & flair on handbags is on all the fashion websites.........from just about every designer. It's most common on hobos but even on small crossbody bags...just smaller charms. Less is more tho......I wouldn't want a bunch.....but it can get expensive to do more anyways. It "dresses up" a plain leather bag tho. Some prostitutes wear jeans or skirts too......are we all going to stop wearing jeans or skirts because of that?

Is just for embellishment and gives a nice personal touch. Not only scarfs, jewelry, pompoms, but adult women attach soft cuddly bears to their leather bags.

I haven't seen a teddy bear or pompoms attached to a designer handbag...but...I don't look & study other women's bags either...so maybe. I like the bag charms only but I thought the big dinosaurs that coach came out with a couple of yrs ago were ugly.....with the hair. Anybody remember those?

If it puts a smile on your face and you like it then have fun with your purse and embellishments.

Prostitutes wear high heels. Does that make my sister a prostitute??

Scarves on a handbag is a fashion thing, and has been for as long as I can remember.

I really like to see a nice scarf tied to a handbag. I used to do this but haven't bothered with it in some time. Maybe I'll do it again if I find a cute scarf!

Scarves, including tied to purses, are popular in France, according to fashion designer Justine Leconte. I subscribe to her channel. I love her French view of fashion and life.

Here is her video showing twenty ways to tie a scarf.

Yes , I was in London at the time and we tied our scarves to our bags if it didn’t fit in a pocket or bag.
