There it is. Not a rare item, but rarely do I hear people talk about black jeans.

I like them well enough, although currently, I don't own any. My biggest complaint is that they seem to fade fast...but otherwise, why not?

Black jeans (either solid black or a black washed down to be a very dark grey) are my main go-to. My next go to is a very light wash. Followed by a classic blue jean or a dark blue.

I'm wearing some right now. They're quite slimming and go with almost anything. Except my orange-and-white cat.

I prefer a dark wash blue denim to black. My favorites are a very dark blue- almost black pair. If they fade they turn into lighter blue denim and not the faded black look.

You have to use laundry soap made for darks. They don't fade nearly as fast.

Total staple! I love mine- wore a pair today. They've acceptable at my work place, while blue jeans are not. I love jeans.

The current pair has been in steady rotation for at least 4 years without any discernible fading. I just wash in cold and turn them inside out. We use whatever's cheap for laundry soap.
