I've used the Crest teeth whitening strips on and off since March and today when I was in sunlight I had a hand held mirror with me and I noticed a noticeable difference.

Because the strips are shaped to be used just for the front rows of the teeth, the molars (that don't have the strips) are not as white, thus I saw the difference. I haven't changed my brushing habits or techniques, just put the strips on once in awhile since getting them.

Others feel these strips are overall pretty effective? Guess that is why they are locked up at the stores (when you want to buy them, the clerk has to get them from the case).

All you would really need to decide whether they work or not are before and after phone snaps OP.

I was facing the sun with the mirror so it was crystal clear lighting and then I saw a difference between the front rows and the back rows (which never had strips).

I know a couple of people from work that have used teeth whitening strips & were happy with their results....

Eating lots of fresh veggies & raw fruits can be good for teeth too....they can help rub the plaque away!! Baking soda or bromelain....an enzyme in pineapple.....in toothpaste is also supposed to be helpful in removing stains on teeth....

When I had to get a partial my dentist had me use them for awhile to make sure my teeth were as close to original...remove any possible stains.. as possible so he could make a better match color-wise.
Yes, they work.

I have tried teeth-whitening products, they do work, strips included.

But I drink a lot of coffee, so that whiteness never stays. What I do now is occasionally use
a medium-firm toothbrush, scrub really good, seems to take a lot of the discoloration off my teeth.

I had my teeth done "professionally" at my dentist. $400 down the tube. It was 't even white as I walked out the door.

They definitely work!! It's hard for you to really see them looking in the mirror, but standing next to just about anyone the difference becomes insanely clear!!

"The majority of whitening strips are safe to use; however, if you use whitening strips that contain chlorine dioxide, you could destroy the enamel on your teeth. Chlorine dioxide is the same acid that is used to disinfect swimming pools. It whitens teeth by eating away at the surface of the enamel. Essentially, you are wearing down the enamel on your teeth and increasing your risk for tooth decay if you use this type of whitening strip.

Even if your whitening strips don't contain chlorine dioxide, it's important to follow the directions on the package. "
