Agreed. Anastasia has great brow powders and they usually come in a duo. I usually get the taupe toned ones. I also got a Benefit brow pencil and powder duo. It is expensive but gives the option of several different looks- you can use the powder alone, pencil alone, or both together. I have never used eyeshadow in my brows before...

I use Revlon's ColorStay Brow Kit in soft brown. I haven't noticed any red tint to it, and I really like it.

I second the Anastasia brow powder. Its similar to eye shadow but the color is a taupe. Its perfect.

Sorry, no help otherwise...
Love that product. The only thing I use. I use the middle shade. I bought the lighter shade and frankly, I didn’t see much difference, but I really do use a light hand. I did one brow with the light and one with the medium, went to my hairdresser and asked her. She said the lighter shade was cool, the medium was warm. Since I’m neutral toned, I can use either one. But my preference, and her preference, what is the medium shade.

The other thing I like about this is I see a lot of people using two products on the brow videos I’ve watched. They use a pencil to color the skin, and then they use some sort of a colored brow setting gel or something. This pencil is so waxy, that it not only deposits color on the skin, it puts it on the hairs, which you then brush with the spoolie, and give them a light hold.

As for lasting, it does last pretty well. But I am a brow toucher, so by the end of the day if I’m going out at night, I have to retouch. Or make sure that I don’t play with my brows all day.

One other thing I do that works well for me is applying on top of the brow. The pencil goes on the hairs and skin. My fill in is mainly my tails, and I go over top of the brow line to line where they would be. There’s hair, it’s kind of sparse. So I go from the top of the brow line and when I blend, I blend down then brush in place. I find if I go to draw the line under the brow line and blend up there’s a very bad dark shadow which makes my eyebrows look much bigger than they are, but really fake looking.
Solly says — Be nice!
