I’m not a fan of eyebrow pencils, and usually stick with dark brown eyeshadow to darken my eyebrows. I recently ran out of the product I’ve been using forever on my brows and I’m having a hard time finding a good replacement. I’ve been thru a half dozen dark brown eyeshadows and powder eyebrow kits, and it seems that all of them have a slight tint of auburn/red hiding in there. Any recommendations on a good brown eyeshadow with zero red tint? Thanks!

I've had the same experience you have with the red tones. So I've been using Almay brown eye shadow on my eyebrows - haven't noticed the red tinge at all. Granted, I'm using the one made for hazel eyes which is a little lighter tone so I can't speak for the darker colors. But it might be worth a try. Hope you'll report back on what you use successfully.

Hope that helps.

Try a high-end bronzer. It stays on longer than eye-shadow would and keeps a more unified look, without adding too many colors to the face.

I didn't like eyebrow pencils either until I found these. Game changer. The super fine tip makes all the difference.

Sorry, no help otherwise...

I absolutely hate the reddish-brown tone that is in so many brow products. This pencil is my new favorite for my brows. I used the Taupe, and there is zero red tone in it. Maybe the Espresso color would work for you.

You need a cool tone brown. I have one in an eyeshadow palette with a cool dark brown - I think it's a morphe nude palette. Maybe try a Sephora or ulta so you can swatch them and find one without any warm tones (or an employee might be able to recommend one).

When I had dark hair I used this in the Ash Brown, but it's in a pomade

I agree that eye shadow works just as well. Right now, I use a blend of colors from an "Urban Decay" palette called "Naked Ultimate Basics".

Soon, I am looking into Microblading.

Use a brow powder or tint! Don't use regular eyeshadow

Why are none of you using a brow powder?!? There are several good ones.

I use the brow powder from Benefit. I get it at Ulta Brow department.
