Except by then, some of us may not fit into the same clothes we wore pre-pandemic.
Definitely this ^^^. I've been eating out of boredom plus my gym has been closed.
Living in SW Florida, we mostly wear the same things all year. The only difference is I wear a little more black in my wardrobe than I do in the summer. I have very few long sleeved tops. If we have a cooler day (rare) I have a lot of cute jackets & sweaters. I rarely wear jeans in the summer, especially skinny jeans as I find them way too warm when it's hot & humid.
I'm DYING to visit my favorite nursery and shop for plants!
Now that's a really interesting priority, and a good example of the kind of business that should be allowed to open right away. Nurseries don't tend to have crowds, and purchases would be great for people sheltering at home who spend time tending their gardens.

No not at all. Not for clothes. For me it is like "what's the point?" By the time we get back to work, no one will remember what we wore so it will be like starting fresh with the current wardrobe.
That's exactly what I was thinking! I have a closet full of spring tops that NO ONE has seen.
