I'm starting this thread in the vein of similar threads from other forums on City-Data. The idea that I have is for folks to post and discuss their most recent fashion purchase (makeup, clothes, shoes, etc.), state how much they paid for the item, and why the purchased the item (or any combination of the above).

I'll start:

I ordered a Navy Chateaux Romper from Romper Jack today.

Here is a cheesy commercial from the company that gives an idea of how the things look in action:

I paid $89.00 ($96.00 after shipping fees). I first came across the items this week on Facebook and was intrigued by it. I love the idea of a one piece outfit for men and think it'll look nice on me.

Apologies if there is already a similar thread. I searched the first two pages of the forum and didn't find any.

I think most of them look ridiculous. I like how the blue and one other color look.

Maybe for sleepwear...? As a man, I'd have to say I'd have hard time wearing this in public, or around the pool (as depicted in the video). I'd feel like my 'boys' were on display. But I'm kind of stuffy that way....

I wasn't looking forward to wearing leggings or tight jeans during a hot, sticky summer so searched eBay for palazzo pants in subdued prints and colors. Wound up buying half a dozen for an average price of $15. One still had the price tag on: $119. None are cropped palazzos but the long ones.

Then, again with the weather in mind, I bought a long, cotton wrap dress in a subdued pink and beige print. Worn with a large sunhat and espadrilles, it's perfect for a summer brunch. Saw it in this video at 14:10 mark. It's that first dress on the left below. I subscribe to Hot and Flashy's channel and am built the same as she is so if something looks good on her it usually looks good on me.

I bought a lip color set from Estée Lauder. 2 liquid lips and one lipstick. It costs $28.

I bought them because the colors were pretty. I don’t even wear lipstick, not before being quarantined anyway. I figure whenever this virus blows over and we can go back out, I’ll wear them.

Heck, I may let loose and put some color on while I’m working from home tomorrow.

Sadly uninteresting, but it was just eyeliner and nail polish at Walgreens.
