I'm on the hunt for some UV (sun) protective tops. Not a rashguard or what you would wear poolside...more for gardening and/or walking around the neighborhood...something that breathes/cools in hot weather.

My on-line searches keep sending me to beachy things or what I consider to be masculine looking hiking shirts. (If I wanted one of those hiking shirts, I'd just borrow something of my husband's!) I don't need high fashion, but something that doesn't look like a smock or a sack or frumpy-dumpy. I'm frumpy-dumpy enough on my own as a short, roundish, middle aged woman, but I try not to emphasize it!

Anyone have any recommendations?

Light colored, tightly woven linen has some UV protection and is cool too.
Here are a couple sites (but of course cute is in the eye of the beholder).

https://www.uvskinz.com

https://freeflyapparel.com

This site has some options, though most are variations on the long-sleeve tee theme:

Thank you both so much for the links. I'd not seen freeflyapparel.com before, so I'll definitely check that one out!

I feel dumb that I missed that Melanie had already linked to the one I posted.

That's what I get for coming here before coffee. Good luck, OP!

https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/women/uv-protection - Uniqlo has some.

I have the mesh zip-up hoodie and wore it yesterday. It is breathable. That one runs true to size. I have the short-sleeve version of the long-sleeve Airism seamless top in a non-UV cut. It is very breathable, but runs a bit large, so you might want to size down for a cuter look.

Ooooh, thanks for the link and the fit details! That's always a bit of a trick when ordering on-line. Looks like these folks have just what I'm after, and the prices look good, too. Bonus!
